Seems like I've been away for a few months more than intended...but I just don't have any time to dedicate here any more, I'm a busy busy person these days ;-;
My website UnitedKpop has been doing really well, we're starting to really be taken seriously and it's bringing in a lot of huge opportunities. For this reason, I've decided I'm taking a year out of university to move to London. University in Scotland is free, I can come back to it later, but these opportunities are now. I'm not gonna be a dumbass and ignore what could lead me to a good career even without finishing my degree. If things go really well, I'm going to stay in London. Otherwise I'll return to Dundee and go back to university - which I'm hoping I don't have to do. To be honest, I'm not even sure why I'm doing a degree in Graphic Design, other than the fact I really enjoy Graphics, I don't really see myself having a career in it, other than perhaps the occasional commission. Business however, and events organisation, is something I really enjoy doing as a job despite never having been paid for any of it...one day I swear.
Last weekend I went down to London for the Jay Park concert supported by VICTOR, and somehow ended up as the press manager for the day. It was a hella lot of work, jeezo, but despite the exhaustion, it was freaking awesome. Even though I was super stressed, I've never felt more in my element. I'm seriously looking forward to the next time I can do something like that, and hopefully next time it'll be a paid gig dammit. November is a huge month for me too, I'll have just moved down to London and there's already like 4 big concert events coming up - two of which we were invited to, and one of those is in Sweden no less.
We got invited to VIXX's Stockholm showcase, backstage access and all! I like VIXX's music, but seeing them isn't even the part I'm looking forward to, honestly I'm looking forward to the chance to connect with new and important contacts that can help us in the future. A lot of people keep telling me I'm so lucky I meet idols all the time but I don't really think of it like that any more...it's my job and I worked really hard to be where I am, so it's not exactly luck and I don't see meeting idols as the awesome part of my job either...so it's kinda awkward when people say that lol. I like the work I do, even if it physically drains me to the point of illness, which happens far too often man. Of course though, if I met Block B I might be a wee bit really happy hehe. I just feel like I've reached a point where it's professionally inappropriate to be all fangirly about these things, and apparently it shows cuz people think I'm about 5 years older than I actually am - aww yeah for seeming mature!
Anyways, point is, lots of awesome things are happening and require a lot of work, hence me having no time to be on here any more. I'll have more time when I move next month because I won't have university on top of all my work, so maybe I'll have a little time then?
Either way, for the time being I won't be responding to anything on here, so if you need me you can catch me at;
