Just realised I've had a deviantART account for 8 years! Just missed my anniversary a couple of days ago. I can't believe 2007 is 8 years ago, still feels like its only a few I think it's still 2009 in my head! 

Question, how long have any of you guys been watching for?

Yesterday I got my 3rd year results back, I got an overall B2 which is pretty great. Last semester I got a B3! But for some reason, they gave me a C1 for my research grade, and considering I got a B1 last time with half the work, you can imagine I was pretty devastated. So obviously, I'm not gonna stand for that, I worked damned hard! Everyone in class had commented on how much research I'd done, a guy from an agency we did a project commented on it, hell my other tutor even said I should become a researcher.

During feedback he didn't seem to know why I got that grade either and seemed to be on my side. So after I got back to my flat, I emailed him asking if I could appeal the grade. I didn't receive any response then so I didn't know if it was even gonna help. But, about half an hour ago, I got an email from the tutor that gave me the grade saying all the tutors collectively agreed it should have been a higher grade, and now I have an A3 for research and I am CHEESING!

It was my goal of this semester to get just one A, even if it wasn't my overall grade. And now that goal is achieved I feel pretty great my hard work did pay off after all! I'm a little more optimistic about my honours next year now, because I was worried I couldn't get a good enough grade to do Masters if I wanted. 

Hey again guys, I'm still here!  

In part of my dedication to getting DigitallyCreated back on form, I'd like to raise some points to get back our Super status. I already have about 1,200 points of my own, but I'm going to need some help to get the rest.

So if anyone has just a few points to spare, it would be massively appreciated and I would love you forever  

It would mean a lot for me to be able to get DC going again! 

So I'm attempting, once again, to make my return to DeviantART. Not for myself, but for DigitallyCreated. I think I've neglected the group for far too long, and it's about time I make up for it. 

My return doesn't exactly mean I'll be posting lots of art again, because I'm still pretty busy. But if you do fancy seeing what I've been up to lately, come join me on Behance! It's where I've been posting my design work from University.
